Smartran is delighted to launch two new reward schemes, to incentivise volunteers in your community and introduce real financial incentives to health and wellbeing programmes. We invite you to register your interest to ensure you receive our launch offers and guarantee of best terms as the schemes mature.
Based on the proven Gym Miles reward scheme operating in the health club sector, we are delighted to offer these new schemes to meet the needs of Local Authorities, Health Authorities, Transport Authorities and the voluntary sector:
Active Points – delivers a powerful rewards/loyalty incentive programme supported by the UK’s top brands and retailers including major supermarkets Tesco and ASDA. Residents earn points for participating in activities, classes and events which are part of the scheme in their community. The points can be exchanged for free offers, discounted products and cash-back financial rewards from over 400 retailers. Residents will typically be awarded points for each activity which are worth £2.50 in additional discounts or cash-back rewards. An individual participating in four activities a week could therefore benefit from £10 savings on every day spending. There is no cost to the authority or community for the value of the rewards earnt. Active Points is therefore a very attractive component of a community based health or wellbeing programme. The scheme is also supported by the Department of Health Change 4 Life scheme as well as major sports brands such as Reebok, Nike and Puma.
Time Miles Rewards – volunteers earn Time Miles for every hour recorded working on behalf of a charity or not for profit organisation which is part of the community scheme. The Time Miles can be accumulated by the volunteer or donated to one of the local charities or community organisation to help them save money on their expenditure. The Time Miles can be exchanged for free offers, discounted products and cash-back financial rewards from over 400 retailers. Volunteers will be awarded Time Miles for every hour which are worth £2.50 in additional discounts or cash-back rewards. If they gave four hours a week, their rewards could be worth £10 in savings on every day spending. There is no cost to the charity or community for the value of the rewards earnt. Time Miles rewards provide an additional incentive for volunteers which is not treated as remuneration and is totally funded by the participating retailers. Transport Choices – we are working on a third scheme to reward transport choices including cycle to work/school, walking to work and using public transport services. Complete the contact form to be kept updated on this proposition. For more information about these schemes, please use our Contact Form to request an information sheet and to register your interest. These schemes are specifically designed for the public and voluntary sectors, so please ensure you state which organisation you are representing and provide your full contact details.
